Summer season is winding down. Three 10 day bike tours, and lots of mountain guiding. Just trained a team for a race to the South Pole. Can't wait to vacation in Mallorca with my family and my road bike! (0 comments)

Climbed Mont Blanc today (4819m) and decided to desend the Grands Mulets route to the Aiguille du Midi mid station. Big day! 13 hours of climbing. (1 comments)
MICHAEL SILITCH | 07 MAI 2011 AT 2:40 Got to watch the Tour of Romandie bike race in person. Rode over from the UCI world cycling center. What a cool builiding. There is an indoor wooden track, a healthy cafeteria, a bike magazine and book library, and bikes on display. I saw Nino Shuter's Scott 899 in person with its tubular tires!

Lake Genava, Switzerland-Cyclotour du Leman
Between mountain and cycling guiding I got a chance to ride the "cyclotour" around Geneva lake this past Sunday. After skiing all winter and ski touring all spring I didn't have too many kilometers in my legs on the bike, so I chose the short ride, 60 km from Geneva to Lausanne.
